Terms and Conditions
We sell unique products for unique and sensitive situations that are important to you and we are here to help you capture that important moment when it happens when you need it but we all know this is not a perfect world and unfortunately there will be items that may be defective.
So we strive not only to carry unique items for unique situations but items that have very low defective rate. We understand the inconvenience of needing an item right when you need it and it doesn’t work and our vendors understand this as well. So we have tried to make our exchanges as simple as possible and while we are unable to offer refunds on certain products we work to quickly get you what you need as fast and easily as possible.
So if you discover that you may have a defective item then please read below.
What is my warranty on what I bought? (90 days may seem short but there are some items that are going to be handled more often than others which will increase the wear and tear and unfortunately cannot be warrantied after a certain point)
All items carry a 90 day warranty excluding the following:
Cameras – 1 year (unless otherwise stated by manufacturer)
DVRs- 2 years (unless otherwise stated by manufacturer)
My item isn’t what I wanted how do I get a refund? (Some of the product we sell is designed to capture sensitive moments and sometimes those moments only happen once, due to a very small group of people who have previously abused this and wanted refunds after they captured what they needed, we have to enforce a no refund rule on certain products)
Due to the nature of specific products we offer, Spy Centre does not offer refunds for the following items.
- Nanny cameras
- Body worn
- Digital audio recorders
- Computer/cellphone software/electronic downloads
- Gps devices
The above listed items are subject to the manufacturer’s warranty and are only eligible for repair or replacement. Custom built items are not eligible for exchange and will only be repaired. Items in blister packaging that have been opened are only eligible for an even exchange of the same item.
Shipping is non-refundable. Any returns sent without a return authorization number will be refused.
A copy of the buyer's original receipt must accompany all returns and all returns must be in the same condition as when shipped and must be complete (i.e. original product box, product packing, product manual, power supply, etc.).
My item is defective how do I get an exchange?
Items can only be exchanged within 14 days of when you receive it. Outside of 14 days, items are subject to their extended warranty and will be repaired. If you have discovered that your item is not functioning as designed then contact us at 800-292-7748 for phone support or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
How to obtain an RMA number
Any item that is not functioning as designed and deemed by a member of tech support to be defective, must be sent back with an RMA # issued by a tech team member. RMA #’s are only valid for 10 days from issue. Any item that is shipped to us without an RMA # will be refused, no exceptions.
If my item is defective, do I have to pay for shipping?
We will issue a call tag and pay for shipping only for items that are within warranty and deemed defective and were given an RMA number. You will have to pay for shipping for items that are outside of their warranty.
All packages ship via UPS. UPS does not deliver to PO Boxes, a physical address must be provided. All orders made before 3pm CST Monday-Friday and in stock will be shipped same day. All orders made over the weekend or holidays will be shipped on the following business day. Back orders will be shipped when made available. All items are shipped from Plano Texas.
Due to the nature of our product we do not ship outside of the United States of America.
