Multiple office locations in the same city need to be recorded in one
convenient location. Secondary location has a front entrance and garage area
that needs to be covered. Main location has multiple large parking/storage areas
as well as the main office and lobby itself. Both video and audio need to be
recorded for legal reasons to cover transaction between the company and the
drivers as well as the company and the people returning to recover car impounds
by the local police departments.
Solution:
Server DVR with remote viewing and hybrid DVR/NVR recording. PTZ cameras doing automated touring as well as
multiple fixed cameras watching various areas around the property. PTZs can be temporarily controlled to be repositioned to watch specific events and when the PTZ controller goes idle, the automated tour resumes. All PTZ controls and video feeds can be accessed though the Internet. PTZ tours will resume if users go idle, even remote users. No PTZ joysticks required remotely or locally.
High powered audio added to office and transaction areas. Remote site has local
IP server broadcasting 2 network based cameras across the company VPN. All
cameras and audio are recorded in one location on a single system. Main system
can record and playback all camera and audio records, including the cameras that
are off site.

Problem: Officers need an easy way to record audio and video in interview rooms and be able to export the data off in DVD format. The local courts have VCRs and DVD players, but most do not have computers for digital video playback. DVD needs to be compatible with standard home DVD players.
Solution: Server DVR with DVD burner with hybrid TV broadcast speed
accelerated video recording, wide screen format. Slaved audio channels. Standard light switches outside of interview rooms modified with additional LED. Flipping the switch outside of the room, triggers the recording for audio and video in the associated interview room and toggles the LED to on, alerting the officer that recording is
ok. After the fact, DVR can burn audio and video into standard DVD format for commercial home DVD players for evidence.

Problem: Local church needs camera surveillance for parking lot vagrants, audio and video surveillance/archive of classroom events for legal reasons, and an easy way to open the church doors for events without having to give out keys to the building. In addition, the church has many, many unaccounted for keys that were given out previously.
Solution: Server DVR with combined video systems and access control system. Exterior cameras watch parking lots and 2 zoomed in cameras record license plates from the entrances. Internal classrooms are monitored with audio and video for archive reasons. Network based access control system monitors exterior doors and can be programmed to automatically lock and unlock doors on
pre-designed schedules. Local automated dialer notifies a specific call list of personnel if power is lost to the church for more than a few minutes. Administration of the door system can be done across the internet, and authorized users can force an unlock of a given door remotely in special or emergency situations.

remote viewing, 5.8 wireless Ethernet
transmitter/receivers, video intercom system with access
control door, wide dynamic light balancing cameras, and
a burglar alarm system. Tight camera shots on all
entrances for license plate recording. Cat5 cabling and
video baluns for long range camera runs. Wireless
Ethernet, high powered 5.8 wireless system to tie
individual regions of the condominium sections to the
main system. Armoured day night cameras with infrared
used for covering dark areas. Wide dynamic range, light
balancing cameras used to grab license plates at night
time. Monitored burglar alarm added to office area and
remote panic button pendants attached to system for
emergency situations. Office personnel can trigger alarm
from their necklace pendant without having to go to the
panel itself. 1 way video, 2 way audio intercom system
added to main office door. Office personnel can see who
is at the door, talk to them over the intercom and
remotely trigger the door strike to unlock the door and
allow access to the office. Multiple power backups added
through system.

Problem: Local church runs a day time school. For
legal reasons, church wants to archive audio and video
events in the classrooms and around the school area. In
addition, wants to give parents the ability to watch and
hear their child remotely during school hours.
Solution: Server based DVR with remote audio and
video capabilities. Standard dome cameras added to
classrooms, hallways, and frequently traveled areas.
High powered audio system extending out to 20 or 30 feet
added to appropriate areas. System had to be able to
support internet explorer based browsing (no additional
software necessary for parents) as well broadcast audio
and video feeds to potentially dozens or hundreds of
simultaneous users. Camera system runs full time
recording during school hours, and motion based
recording during off hours. Remote viewing by parents is
scheduled by time and is only accessible during school
hours and only for public areas and the class room of
the individual child. Parents are not allowed to just
listen in/watch any random classroom.
System administrators and emergency personnel have

Problem: Local Montessori school needs audio and
video surveillance for legal reasons. In addition,
individual parents need to be given remote access to
class rooms during school hours. Also, perimeter doors
need to be regulated so that only authorized parents and
personnel may access the site. Parents will not be
allowed to enter the school after certain hours, even
though they can unlock the main door during the day.
Receptionist needs the ability to remotely unlock the
main door for deliveries. Exterior doors remained locked
from the outside during the at all times. Doors may be
exited from the inside freely.

tabs on internal theft, shop lifting, and drive offs at
the pumps. In addition, owner wanted remote access to
the video feeds across the Internet.
Solution: Server based dvr with remote viewing
tied in to a Point of Sale register monitoring system. A
series of cameras watch the internal store, retail
floor, stock areas, and gas pumps. Secondary series of
cameras records license plates of cars at the gas pumps
and entrance/exits. POS system records text data of all
register transactions and overlays the transaction text
from the register on top of the camera video signal
feed. DVR also maintains a searchable, cross referenced
index of POS data/Video data. Owner can search for
things such as "no sale", find all transactions with
that entry, and pull up the associated video for the
transaction. DVR is remotely viewable across the
internet, including the text overlaid live video feed of
the register's text data.
